Challenge: Life sciences companies needed a reliable way to detect and monitor adverse events hidden within unstructured clinical data to meet pharmacovigilance and compliance requirements.
Solution: Built AdverseScan, an AI-driven platform leveraging natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning to extract, classify, and track adverse events from unstructured text data.
Outcome: Improved pharmacovigilance workflows, supported regulatory compliance, and reduced manual review time while enhancing patient safety monitoring.
Challenge: Build a competitive HCP loyalty program to drive retention, portfolio growth, and streamlined purchase tracking.
Solution: Implemented the Allergan Partner Privileges (APP) program to allow HCPs and consumers to earn and redeem points on treatments and purchases. The platform included administrator tools for managing contracts and program configurations, and introduced a tier-based rewards structure with enhanced reporting and account management capabilities.
Outcome: Strengthened customer loyalty, increased product sales, and positioned Allergan for growth across its aesthetics portfolio.
Challenge: Replace the legacy BRS portal with a unified platform supporting patient benefit verification, prior authorizations, and Botox ordering.
Solution: Developed the BotoxOne portal as a best-in-class online resource, enabling providers to register, manage benefit investigations, and process prior authorizations electronically. Migrated legacy users from the BRS portal, integrated MedPro for prescriber NPI validation, and delivered a streamlined workflow for ordering and reimbursement support.
Outcome: Streamlined reimbursement processes, improved efficiency in benefits investigations, and increased provider and patient satisfaction.
Challenge: Modernize consumer loyalty program to improve scalability, differentiate from competitors, and incentivize consumer adoption across multiple aesthetic products.
Solution: Rebuilt the loyalty system architecture to support large-scale consumer adoption, developed companion mobile apps for iOS and Android, and integrated the platform with backend systems for rebate fulfillment and Salesforce Commerce Cloud to provide HCP sales visibility.
Outcome: Increased product sales, improved customer retention, and enabled Allergan to expand loyalty across its aesthetics portfolio.
Challenge: Financial institutions required a scalable, compliant system to manage incentive compensation plans and reduce complexity in tracking commissions.
Solution: A SaaS-based compensation management platform designed with the specific goal of administering the costly, cumbersome commission management process of simple to complex compensation plans.
Outcome: Simplified compensation processes, improved accuracy in commission tracking, and increased adoption among enterprise customers in the mortgage and financial services sector.
Challenge: Client faced gaps in digital maturity across its ecosystem, including fragmented consent data, non-compliant data capture, and limited interoperability between core systems. These issues created compliance risks, data duplication, and barriers to effective customer engagement.
Solution: Led a strategic planning and gap analysis under IQVIA’s DCI, assessing functional and technical deficiencies across core systems.
Outcome: Delivered a comprehensive roadmap for the clients Digital Capabilities Initiative, helping leadership prioritize remediation, select compliant platforms, and design future-state integrations.
Challenge: Rising healthcare costs and increasing chronic disease rates raised questions about whether expensive insurance premiums create financial barriers that worsen patient health outcomes in the U.S.
Solution: Designed a cloud-based ETL pipeline using AWS Glue, Lambda, and SQS to automate ingestion and transformation of datasets from KFF, CDC, and the U.S. Census Bureau. Data in Redshift was analyzed with Python regression models to evaluate relationships between insurance premiums and morbidity rates.
Outcome: Delivered a detailed correlation analysis with data visualizations (heat maps, scatterplots) highlighting potential affordability barriers in healthcare.
Challenge: The rise of subprime lending required a new loan origination system to address the nuanced guidelines, ensure compliance, and scale lending operations across multiple branches.
Solution: Designed and scaled a custom Loan Origination System (LOS) with eligibility rules, risk scoring models, and integrated reporting, supporting high-volume subprime loan processing across the enterprise.
Outcome: Provided business continuity for subprime market transition, increased underwriting accuracy, reduced processing times, and supported the lending operations until the 2008 financial crisis.
Challenge: Patients often struggled to find pharmacies offering specific vaccines and required assistance in locating accessible options nearby. Call center agents needed a faster, more reliable tool to match patient addresses with pharmacies while prioritizing accessibility and convenience.
Solution: Built the "Vaccine Locator Tool," which retrieved the top five pharmacies based on driving time rather than distance, providing more practical results for patients.
Outcome: Improved patient access through pharmacy recommendations, reduced call center handling time, and enhanced the patient experience.
Challenge: Organizations using Crystal Reports needed an advanced reporting solution with greater flexibility in filtering, viewing, and distribution than the base product allowed.
Solution: Developed and commercialized ViewerFX as a standalone desktop and server application, extending Crystal Reports functionality with advanced filtering, exporting, and distribution capabilities for enterprise clients.
